About Me and My Journey

I am a real person, on my own joyful journey!

My journey started in Haiti, where I was born, but I spent my childhood in St. Martin before emigrating to the United States at the age of 8. Since living in the U.S. I moved around a lot, even across states. I witnessed distress and suffering normalized around me, and it directly impacted me.

The ways that I thought about myself and how I processed information were rooted in trauma and fear. I was determined to break free from this cycle, not only for myself but also for my loved ones. So, I initiated changes in my life to create a positive impact. I embarked on a journey of healing, self-development, and self-discovery.

I’m continually growing professionally to become the best therapist I can be for my clients. For me, being a therapist is an act of social justice. I want to help people heal and thrive from the communities I identify with. I want them to start living their best life full of hope and joy, and less with anxiety and distress. This is why I am profoundly dedicated to working with underserved populations, including immigrants, people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, etc.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a diverse array of clients, spanning ages from 7 to 65, each grappling with unique challenges, from adapting to life changes to enduring severe and chronic trauma. My journey has taught me that ‘it’s all connected’: the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Due to the demands of life, we tend to neglect one or more of these dimensions. With my holistic approach, I am here to guide you in prioritizing all these aspects, while equipping you with the tools to enhance your emotional and mental well-being. By fostering these aspects of yourself, I believe that you will be able to enrich your journey with more joy.

On my downtime I am a professional photographer, enjoy being in nature and bodies of water, spend time laughing with loved ones, and binge-watch really cool Netflix shows.
